What can you do yourself?

  • Drink plenty of water, possibly supplemented with lemon juice, or drink soothing tea (e.g. chamomile tea, lime flower tea or passion flower tea).
  • Get enough sleep! Eight hours of sleep is ideal for boosting your immunity. While doing so, also make sure your bedroom is well ventilated.
  • Spend as much time as possible in the healthy outdoors.
  • Pay attention to your breathing. Breathing in and out slowly ensures that oxygen has time to enter your body.
  • Fever is your immune system’s response to illness, support this initially with adequate cooling and physical rest.
